Crownsville was blanketed with the warm glow of the setting sun. The air was warmed by the recent passing of spring air and Clarissa was enjoying every moment of it. Things had gotten better in her life, slowly but surely, puzzle pieces began to fit together again, and she was relieved. As she walked him from Cover to Cover, Fig jogged beside her, the young golden eager to get to walk after being cooped up all day. They walked happily, enjoying the beautiful spring afternoon and Clarissa thought of what they could do when they arrived home. If Theodore was at home, maybe they could go to Cherry On Top for an ice cream home before heading to park. Maybe they’d invite Rose and Alex... or they’d enjoy a night together - just their little family. But her thought process faltered as she walked past an all too familiar house - a house she used to spend a good portion of her team.
Clarissa stopped walked, Fig stilling down by her feet with a whine as if he too recognized the home. The brunette faltered, pinching her lowering lip as she debating just continuing on or walking up the steps and saying hi. Her urge to check up her former best friend won out and she motioned Fig along the step. With bated breath, Clarissa reached up and push the doorbell, taking a step back as the ring rang through the home. @gydalance
