who: @juliettehv when: after the time capsules, before the interrogations where: juliette’s room
Was Mari reading into the poems and the compliments, the invitation from Juliette? Honestly, she wasn’t sure. She had no idea how to read the blonde, especially over type, her experience with her mostly limited to that she had always seemed to mimic Greer. And, fitting with following those footsteps, Mari was utterly confused by her intentions, the same way the golden girl so often spun people in circles. Until she had gotten through that, and thought she had actually gotten to know the girl behind the reputation.
And then Greer vanished, and proved just how wrong she was.
But all of that - and her finals- were pushed to the side, Mari honestly glad for company - even if Juliette wouldn’t have normally been someone she reached out to first. Since the time capsule, she had been anxious beyond belief, barely able to hold still for a second, panic and nausea moving over her in waves. So any distraction was welcomed. Even if it came in the form of a wanna-be Greer.
Reaching Juliette’s dorm, Mari rapped on the dorm a few times, waiting for the blonde to answer, a closed lip smile on her face once the door swung open. “Hey,” she said, any hint of awkwardness and uncertainty she may have felt completely undetectable in the greeting.
