Scorpius was going out of his mind, there was a restless itch under his skin and no matter what he did, he couldn’t escape it. He had excused himself from the room he had all bee pushed inside, roaming to long, cold, empty halls of the castle trying to calm the never ending stream of consciousness in his mind. He could run, leave the building and apparate to somewhere far from here, never return and start new, it wasn’t out of reach. But that meant leaving behind Lyra, June... him. No. He couldn’t think of him right now, the thought of him would cause him to spiral further. He finally stopped his aimless wandering and noticed where he was stood, he could laugh at how this could be seen as anything but a coincidence and that his body brought him to someone who would calm him, but he found fate a bitter thing.
He knocked on the door, knowing the traditions that revolved around brides and grooms seeing one another before the ceremony, but he was pretty sure the two of them had enough bad luck to last them a hundred years at this point. He slipped his way through the door, making sure he was unseen and thankful that no one else was in the room apart from June. “Hi.” He whispered, his voicing sounding as fragile as he felt.
