He hadn’t--he hadn’t seen very many other water creatures, Mermaids or Sirens, that seemed to be decked out in full armour. Didn’t seem very useful for swimming, mostly. It wasn’t a case of it looking ridiculous, because it didn’t. It just didn’t seem.
Practical.
But maybe it made more sense with those shadow-things lurking around, at least.

He’d been staring for a while, hadn’t he. Probably looked suspicious, coming from a Siren.
