Shahjahan was not the type of person to head over to Rome without good reason, though over the past years it was because of his former maestro Marco, who would request him to go places for sketches or to get new paints and equipment - or even, on occassion, delivering very amazing finished paintings that he simply didn’t trust anyone else with. Those jobs especially made Jahan feel like he was worthy of some trust. So much so, that even now, they continued to do it.
Having deliviered the painting to someone within the vetican without having to set foot on the premise, Jahan took several steps back into the road, having to run back out of it when he almost collided with someone on horseback. “My apologies, signore.”
