Amnesia || Aurora & Deadpool
Aurora wandered the woods, one of her horses in tow. The trees around her were oddly quiet today, though she attributed that to the weather being dreary. She loved the woods regardless; they were serene and kept her calm. She could feel the telltale signs of rain on the horizon.
A little ways off in the distance, she could hear the hustle and bustle of town. She made her way down the cobblestone road and was a bit surprised to see a crowd of people who appeared to be standing around something. “Excuse me. Pardon me.” She nudged her way through the small crowd to find herself confronted with what appeared to be a man in an oddly tailored black and red suit. She wondered if suit was the right word; it was different from any suit she’d ever seen.
She knelt down beside him and nudged him gently. Seeing no movement, she checked his pulse. It was faint but present. She asked a few of the brawnier men in town to help her heft this man up onto her horse; she was going to bring him back to the castle. She had the best nurses there. Surely, they could help him. She dispelled the crowd and led him back to her home.
Aurora had her servants fix him a bed and her nurses give him a once over. She sat beside the bed, watching curiously this unconscious man in the strangest garb she’d ever seen. Through the window, she could hear the light pattering of the rain she’d predicted earlier. She watched the gentle rise and fall of the man’s chest, wondering where on Earth he’d come from.
