the moment he heard about his brother's accident, he ignored everything else and went to his brother's aid. christian knew that he was probably doing too much or maybe even coming off as a bit overwhelming, but gavin was an important part of his life. thankfully, this visit wasn't a hospital visit but instead, just a normal check in. knocking on the man's door with a bag of food in his other hand, he shifted. "come on, gav. open up. i brought food and i'm sure you're hungry." he paused, "if you don't open up, i'm gonna find another way in."

He eyed her, following the movement of her arms as she crossed them in front of her chest. Christian had been dumb to open his mouth and start a fight, but for months he’d been witnessing the longing looks from Jo’s supposedly ‘best’ friend. It wasn’t just platonic to Hope, and with how much time his guardian slash girlfriend spent with the other girl, he was starting to wonder if it was more to Jo as well. It would destroy him, but at least he’d know instead of being tormented in silence, slowly driven to the same point of his heart’s destruction anyway. 

“No friend, not even a best friend looks at someone like Hope stared after you at dinner yesterday without--” Clenching his jaw against another tidal wave of burning jealousy, he had to pause before finally finishing his statement, his voice having become even more cold in the process. “She loves you, Jo, and not in a friendly way. She wants you.”

“hope you’re not busy,” christian started as she swung the door open to her apartment, “but if ya are then now you’re busy with company because i’m not goin’ anywhere.” he added and then he nodded down at the flowers in his hands, wondering if she was gonna like them or laugh at him but it wasn’t like he was hiding them so there was no turning back now. he offered the bouquet of red roses in her direction, “and i picked these up on the way.” he wanted to ask her if she liked him but he didn’t want to seem completely soft for her. “i figured, i don’t know, they might be nice or somethin’.” he scratched the back of his neck in an awkward manner, “anyways, ya lettin’ me in or not?”

The hospital was finally letting Christian go home, although he wasn’t sure where home was truly. He assumed his parents were coming to pick him up, he was still pretty sore all over, and he twisted his cast over and over as he just looked down at his left hand. When he heard footsteps Chris turned to see the man enter his room. “Oh it’s you...” He had heard a lot of information over the last few weeks but one thing he didn’t remember was marrying Isaac... none of it made sense.

Chris hadn’t understood his brother that well, he had treated Isaac like shit but when Chris stepped in and treated the other male right it was as if his brother saw it as some sick challenge. After listening to his brother bitch all night long, he had gotten in the older males face and that was how he was now on his boyfriends door, locked out of his own apartment with a black eye. Chris hadn’t been sure where else he was going to go, but he was sure his brother was probably home smashing all of his shit and well if he was being honest he wanted the other males comfort a bit tonight. “Come on, Isaac open the door.” He said after he knocked a few times, he leaned in the doorway, as he hoped he wasn’t going to have to sleep in his car tonight, laying his head on his boyfriends chest seemed like a much better option.

christian wasn't even going to show up to this thing until she'd mentioned she was going and that's when he went on the hunt for a tux. after all, he wanted to look good for her even if she seemed to like him in his normal attire. he felt as though he looked ridiculous but he talk himself out of going inside. instead, he pushed forward with faux confidence and his eyes searched for the woman who had so easily stolen his attention. the moment he spotted her at the bar, he made a beeline in her direction. his hand landed on the small of her back, "hey," he spoke, smiling at the woman next to him, "i know the bar is open but can i get you a drink?"

christian was locking up the mechanic shop when someone pulled up in the parking lot and he heard them get out of the car. he turned, shaking his head. “sorry, we’re closed up for the night and you’re just gonna have to come back tomorrow.” despite the fact that he’d been rekindling things with kitty, he was still the same asshole demon and he wasn’t going out of his way to help anyone. “are ya deaf or are ya just that slow at processing what i just said? we. are. closed. alright?”

christian could be a romantic if he really wanted to be and while things with kitty hadn’t worked out times before, he was attempting to make it work now. so, he decided to put up some flowers for her and where better to go than irvin’s shop? he walked inside, walking up to the counter and grinning. “well,” he spoke, the other’s back turned toward him, “aren’t you a sight for sore eyes? it’s been a while hasn’t it? you missed me?”
