Several names spoke to her, but one in particular... EVA. The substitute Golden Witch that had served her during the final game of Rokkenjima. She’d betrayed her in the end, but Bernkastel had possessed sufficient time to get over it, to the point where they’d rekindled an alliance during Bern’s last stay.
Perhaps it was time to assure that alliance was still in place.
