who: @nataliavega when: late night where: mutual’s dorm room
She felt practically settled in, her schedule having simply resumed from before. This was her first night out, and she’d come suitably stacked with company and drugs. Rhia started out taking it slow, though a few bumps turned into a few lines and then she was sharing the whole baggy with the theater collective. She wasn’t super close to her friends in the theater program, but she would often come to mid-sized gatherings like this to socialize.
Sometimes Nat would be there like tonight, though this never accumulated into anything beyond a brief hello. Hi, how have you been? Oh my goodness, you look gorgeous. She could recite practically any one of their conversations with ease. She chatted away in the kitchen, noticing but not acknowledging Nat walk in. A few moments later, Rhia’s friend announced they were heading out for the night and gave their goodbyes to both girls.
Alone with the brunette, Rhia gave a wild smile. Her lips were tight, though intent on ignoring the elephant in the room. “Hey, girl,” she greeted, reaching out her hand in a sign of kinship. “Been awhile.” She skipped any attempt at a further explanation of her whereabouts, though she briefly wondered if Nat had been relieved to hear she was gone. “What’s been going on with you? I feel so behind on, like, everything,” she mused, lips smacking in a polite smile.
