I made it by being tougher than the toughies, and smarter than the smarties. And I made it by takin’ risks. I’m sure tha’ whatever risk I take nowadays holds not even a pebble to th’ risks I’ve taken in the past.” Memories of the Klondike flashed before his mind’s eye, but he brushed that all away.
