Traveling to Western Faerghus means crossing through Magdred Way, a densely forested area known for thick and sudden onset of heavy fog and, as a result, being a favorite highway for marauders. Travel carefully and strategically. —
having a foreigner travel these roads alone would be most unwise. rolling over the mental notes in his head, as much as he’d wished to bring a familiar face as a companion, none of them were native. that took out half of his class, then some as it would be the most sensible to find someone who can do close combat.
“hmm...” the little voice rumbles from his throat, still in further thought. the house leader and his right-hand man fit for the criteria, but he gets the sense they must be busybodies with work already. sylvain... was it? just one look and he felt a tug of a familiar aura to another man he already knew—a visage of the brazened mercenary with soft curly blond hair. it gets difficult to tell how driven they would be once they’re serious—if they ever do. which left him with one remaining option.
a swordsman with an air of aloofness who spoke few words, always driven toward a goal or task everyday. if he were to draw up a familiar comparison, a quick thought of a similar swordsman worked for a bandit king popped into mind. he... did not seem half bad, now the only issue lies in approaching one hailing from a noble house. as far as boey could tell, the majority of the student body are made up of royalty and nobility ( so much for fitting in here, right? ).
at times, one can never tell what kind of noble they were raised to be, and ought to be, irregardless of others. to be on the safe side, speaking to them with most respect ( just not in vain calling them their whole five birth names ... ) should suffice until they could be discerned in an encounter. ...overthinking this will do no favors.
he may not be a tepid choice, but that mattered the least for now.
“hey, you are... sir felix, is that right?”
