Ah, and to think he had been doing pretty good avoiding Hideyoshi, being in a different kingdom and all. It was hard to do that when he specifically came to visit him though. He hadn't told anyone he was avoiding him, after all, so it wasn't anyone's fault. Just bad luck, he guessed. Hanbei was facing away from Hideyoshi, trying to pretend he wasn't there, but that wasn't easy. He can only do it for so long, and finally turns his head to look at him over his shoulder.
"What are you doing here?" His voice grows quite quiet. "Don't you---?" Ah, his voice cracked. Hanbei looked away once more, his voice shaky when he tried asking again.
"Don't you find me gross....?"
