If there was something Anthony had learned in his many years is that life goes on. Regardless of the people you met along the way, you had to persist. Human ties were never permanent but you allow them work to your advantage. As soon as they do not, you let it go. It was his life’s philosophy to not linger too long.
Yet as he saw the dishevelled face of a man he once knew approach him at the train station, his eye twitched minutely as he sat up unconsciously. He had assumed the last he saw the man to have been the last time. Instead a ghost approached and it appeared he were headed right in his direction.
