Whole new World
The sun shone through the branches of the tall trees surrounding the cabin. It was late spring and all the windows in the cabin were open to allow the soft blow if the spring air to flow through it. Kay rested her chin on her arms which were crossed, resting on the front window sill of the cottage. A sigh escaped her as she watched a bird run along the porch railing before flying off towards the city that could be seen in the distance through a break in the trees. Hunter, told her never to go there, for the people there aren't kind. They dont understand nor want to understand people who are different than them. They discriminate their own spieces for liking different things that are not the norm, there would be no way they would accept such a monster such as herself. However, she was curious and bored so why not try and see what the city was like. She would have to stay in her human form to fit in. Taking a deep breath she grabbed her jacket––more for style than the chilly spring breeze and headed towards the city.
