Zakir pushed his way through the crowds, squaring his shoulders as he did, sunglasses far up his nose so nobody would be able to see his eyes that were zooming around trying not to spill either of the drinks he was carrying. He didn’t even need to say anything, didn’t use words, just used the air of importance to get people to move out of his way. He kicked the door open, while it was extremely cold outside, the outside was still a lot better than the extreme heat of bodies dancing inside. He wasn’t always a fan of standing inside of the Blue Moon.
He handed the cocktail to Kat and took a sip from his own orange juice, he took a look at her, pushing his sunglasses down a bit. It was dark outside, but Zakir had been wearing glasses for years, and his eyes had gotten used to the extreme darkness, to such a point that he hated sunny days. Or at least it would give him a headache.
“Are you cold?” he asked. He placed his free hand on his shoulder and leaned into the building. His care for another human being didn’t fit with the Baagee persona, but was reserved for only a few individuals on a whole, people he felt closer to, who he could trust with being himself. “Because we can also get out of here,” he said with a grin, the mutual flirting and banter between them coming out so naturally.
