It was getting late into the night, but Minjoon and Haneul were still in the studio, diligently practicing for their debut. At first their new sub-group, Gravity-HM, was almost like a culture shock for him. He went from constantly keeping tabs on seven people to a partnership with just Haneul. It was hard to get used to a group that was more quiet, and more focused, but he quickly grew to love their little duo.
As the two oldest members of Gravity, he always felt close to Haneul, but having all this one on one time with him was making him see him in a whole new light. Minjoon already knew the vocalist was incredibly talented, but when there were eight people performing together it was easy for them to all start to blend together. The more he worked with him, the more he found himself in awe of Haneul. He quickly understood why they were chosen for the new sub-group as well, because they worked so well together. It was amazing how much they could get done when there were less distractions.
Outside of just work though, there were other things Minjoon was noticing that he didn’t before, despite being in a group with him for five years. His gaze lingered a little longer than usual when he watched Haneul dance and hearing the man’s verses in their new songs made him a little breathless.
They were the last two left in the studio tonight, their choreographer left a few hours ago, and they should probably call it quits to make sure they get some good rest tonight, but Minjoon felt like there was still so much to do. After the song ended, he panted heavily and went off to the side to take a long sip of water, wiping the sweat from his forehead and chest with a hand towel.
“How are you feeling?” He asked Haneul, still feeling the need to check in with him even though it was just the two of them now. “Do you want to take a break or do you want go again?”
