As soon as Vegas got out of jail he went to Pete. He had been affected by the magic, he hadn’t meant to kill the people he had. But he was still nervous to see how Pete would react. He got inside and called out to him. “Pete? I’m home.” His arm was in a cast but other than that he was fine physically.

Vegas had been working hard ever since he’d run into Pete. He was devastated that Pete didn’t remember him, so he’d thrown himself into work. He looked up and saw Pete standing there at his stand. “Oh hi! Can I get you anything?” He knew Pete loved food, so maybe this could break the ice.

Vegas had his gun in one hand and Pete’s hand in the other. There was no way he was letting Pete get away from him. He stopped when he heard footsteps coming closer, ready to shoot if he had to. As the figure came into view he was even more on edge. “Who the fuck is that?”

Si Qi was busy working on creating a ring when he heard a knock on the door. He wasn't expecting anyone but he was curious. He opened the door, not recognizing the man in front of him. "Hello there? Are you a new neighbor?"

Vegas was suddenly taken from his thoughts when he heard Pete start to wake up. He looked over at him. He was happy he was finally waking up. He hadn't known what came over him when he'd decided to kill Pete. He couldn't get the thoughts of killing him out of his head, and the thoughts hadn't gone away until he'd done it. But now he realizes Pete's memories may be changed. "Pete? Are you okay?"
