@rcguevariant's Anna Marie sent to Logan: “there’s something wrong with me.”
ㅤㅤㅤLogan's crouched at the edge of a creek, hands plunged into icy waters with his claws extended, rinsing the blood and gore of battle from the adamantium blades. He's got a healing factor, sure, but that doesn't mean the Canuck's careless about retracting some foreign bacteria into his body. The things they were fighting ain't even human…
ㅤㅤㅤ(Not to put too fine a point on it, but this strikes Logan as an ironic moment for Rogue to be speaking her mind about the wrongness o'things…)
ㅤㅤㅤHe looks up, cowl swept back off his face to reveal the unruly points of his hair, and peers at Anna Marie for a long, shrewd moment.
ㅤㅤㅤ“…Is this somethin' t'do with those creatures we just fought? Or issit more'a…” The mutant pauses, brow pinching upward, “— uh, a philosophical statement?”
ㅤㅤㅤWouldn't be the first time Rogue's voiced concerns that she is, essentially, a broken person. Half a lifetime spent unable to touch anyone without harming them will do that, even to someone as strong in her convictions as Moonbeam is.
ㅤㅤㅤPulling his fists from the water, Logan sits back on his haunches and inspects the claws on each hand before retracting them with a snort 'SNAKT.' He shakes out his frozen fingers and turns his full attention to Rogue, “— come sit. We got a least half an hour before the blackbird shows up t'collect us.”
