"I'm here. You're not alone."
Watch Echo. Please. Please.
I cannot stress enough how important it is to see this kind of representation, this kind of investment from a company like Marvel, in telling indigenous peoples' stories. They consulted with the Choctaw nation, they DUBBED THE ENTIRE SERIES IN CHOCTAW. Choctaw is an endangered language! Fewer than 500 people remain that speak it fluently! And here it is, preserved in a Marvel Show about a Native Super Hero!!!!
I know you have MCU fatigue, I get it. I understand that some of the disney+ Marvel shows have been underwhelming. But I am BEGGING YOU. Just watch Echo. Just give it a chance, give Her a chance. The world is a better place with stories like this in it, and the only way we will get more of them is if we show companies like Marvel that their investment isn't a waste.
June 5 Drabble - Misdirection
A NAFTK prequel drabble. Eventual Bucky/Reader, General Audiences, 100 words exactly. This drabble meets the requirements for @societynsoelsscribblesJune Jukebox Scribbles (Hey Baby by Bruce Channel) and @flashfictionfridayofficial's Prompt #359 (The Wrong Sign).
Summary: You're dancing. Bucky's watching. Neither of you are paying attention.
Heeeeeey baby, baby… The women sing together in the middle of the dance floor, and she dances with them, laughing as she twists under Widow's arms.
"You could join them," suggests Steve, sitting at the bar. Bucky gulps at the beer, thin as water.
"Friends only," Bucky reminds him.
I wanna know-oh-oh, will you be my girl?
She glances at Bucky, eyes bright and mouth laughing. Maybe an invitation—but she glances away again, just as quick.
He won't risk it.
"You're an idiot," Steve tells him.
"Yup," agrees Bucky, resigned, and finishes the beer before the song is over.

Hey, could you please do Magik general romantic relationship headcanons with a male reader? Thanks for your time!
MARVEL RIVALS - Magik relationship headcanons with a male reader!
Note(s): If the Russian is inaccurate, sorry! I tried to look for credible sources... Also, as the request asks for a male reader, I'm going to be under the assumption that you'll prefer more typically masculine names!
I'm lowk not too familiar with her but. I think I cooked.
It's so obvious
Fandom: Marvel (MCU) Pairing: Blackhill (Maria Hill/Natasha Romanov) Words: 593 For @flashfictionfridayofficial's weekly prompt #357: It's So Obvious [Now on AO3]
Lately, her friends have been growing closer with each passing day, but when confronted, their denial is swift. Firm. Short in a way that removes all room for doubt.
The two of them are usually better at hiding their intentions.
For Laura, it's as clear as day.
A tender smile secreted away from view. The soft graze of a hand that lingers. A tangible pull as they fall into each other’s orbit, entirely helpless in the face of gravity.
Watching these two dance around the topic is entertaining enough, but a slight push in the right direction could be just what they need.
Yanking His Chain
This is a fill for today’s @flashfictionfridayofficial [#FFF365 Blood on Your Hands] as well as my @julybreakbingo C2 - “I’ve gotten rusty in my abstinence.” square.
Fandom: MCU/Marvel Pairing: Tony Stark & Bucky Barnes (WinterIron if you squint) Rating: Teen Tags: Vampire Tony Stark, Werewolf Bucky Barnes, Blood, Implied Violence, Captivity. Summary: Tony gets a little carried away during his rescue attempt; Bucky doesn’t seem to mind. Word Count: 207
“I’ve gotten rusty in my abstinence,” Tony commented; wrinkling his nose at the mess. There was blood on his hands and his shirt; as well as oozing out of what remained of his companion’s captor. “My sponsor’s not going to be happy about this.”
“I’ll put in a good word,” Bucky replied dryly. “Now,” he rattled the silver fetters holding him in place, “how about seeing if you can find the key?”
“No need, bright eyes.” Tony prowled over to where Bucky was shackled to the wall, “seeing as I’ve had a good meal.”
Bucky frowned in confusion. “I thought vampires were affected by silver too.”
“Yes, but not the same way as your folk are.” Tony took his blood-soaked shirt off, tore it roughly in half and wrapped it around his hands. “Silver burns if it touches our skin, but it doesn’t sap our strength.” He took hold of the chains holding Bucky captive and pulled; the links stretched like taffy before coming apart. “See?”
Bucky stepped away from the wall, his strength surging back into him. “I knew there was a good reason I chose you as a partner.”
Tony arched an eyebrow. “And here I thought it was my good looks and rapier wit.”
