"I'm still in line, I didn't realise Kira had an ice cream stall so I thought I'd grab some to go with the brownies. No, I'm fine, I'll come find you." Smiling into the phone, Lia said goodbye before hanging up, a dreamy look on her face. She had offered to grab dessert for her, Emil and Isa and even though she had jumped ship a couple of times to end up in the ice cream line and had now been standing for nearly thirty minutes to wait for a dessert, she wasn't sure she could be happier.
Sighing contently, Lia tried to see what flavours were being offered today but with the line and the crowd, the small board wasn't quite visible. "Excuse me, can you see what flavours are on today? I can't see the board." She didn't want to lose her place in line, so she asked the brunette in front of her. "If there's no honeycomb, just break it to me gently."
