Ali had been waiting until they reached Kyoto so he could show Skylar around. Japan was one of his favorite countries he lived in, and Kyoto was considered the culture capitol of Japan, so it was the perfect place for the crew to visit. The next stop was Wife & Husband, a wife and husband owned coffee shop with lots of little collectibles he thought his husband might like to see. He noticed that Skylar seemed a little quiet today though, which was surprising when they were out exploring, something he usually got really energetic about. "Hey, are you feeling okay?” He asked as they approached the café. “We can skip this and go back and rest if you’re tired.”

It definitely wasn’t Ryder’s first time seeing Legally Blonde, but it was always fun to re-watch, especially when it was on the large, theatre screen. They still couldn’t believe the palace had a full on movie theatre, but they really shouldn’t be surprised by anything on Molfaun anymore. He practically ran from a room screaming the other day, because of a jump scare with a cryptid from a urban myth and horror game. It was nice to spend the day with Skylar. They haven’t really had the chance to hang out lately. Ryder still had this sense of guilt whenever he was with Robin and Skylar, like he was pulling them away from someone they really wanted to be with, but he tried his best to ignore it and just enjoy the day.

Once they left the theatre, Ryder threw away his empty bag of popcorn and ran their fingers through their recently dyed hair. Once they saw those red roots growing in, they decided they just didn’t feel like looking like their mum right now, so they settled on black instead. Harder to see the red. “Museum time?” He asked Skylar with a small smile. “I have no idea what they have in there, but I bet it’s interesting.”

Ali was supposed to be doing research for Karmel, but it was hard to focus on the task at hand when he was still very much in newly-wed mode, and he had his gorgeous husband next to him right now. Music played softly from Henry’s record player, and Robin’s quilt was draped over their laps as Ali’s notebook laid mostly neglected at his side. “I’m psyched to go back to Kyoto,” he said as he played with Skylar’s fingers. “I’m going to show you so much food you’ll explode.”
