Home Troubles You || Thor & Serenity
@onlyhvmcn
The God chuckles as he shook his head. “Serenity, Father is still sitting on the throne is he not?” He questions the warrior. When he got the answer he was looking for, Thor nods. “Then how come it troubles you so? Ophelia said all was well in Asgard when she went to get a prisoner and bring them here.” Just like Thor did with the warrior in front of him, he always trusted Lady Ophelia--someone who is well trained in the arts of magic. Coming to a stop in the middle of the field the man’s oceanic hues looks around them. There was no one in their sights or in the path of the bifrost. Shaking his head at Serenity’s words Thor raises his hammer into the sky and then a strike of lightning fell down onto him. His midgard clothes of SHIELD were now gone and replaced with clothes worn by Asgardians--a Prince in fact. His blonde locks were no longer in a messy bun, but flowing down a little past his shoulders. Thor had decided to grow it out a little longer, an advice from Pietro who had told him he looked like a Drag Queen trying too hard to dress like the God of Thunder. His eyes look up to the sky, “Heimdall, when you’re ready.” he grins seeing the rainbow colors coming straight down on him. “I don’t see what is troubling you so far.” Thor says smugly to the warrior.
No longer seeing the open fields of Midgard, Thor found himself standing before Heimdall with Asgard behind him. “Hello old friend.” He spoke as he passes past Heimdall. “I would love to stay a chat, but I gotta prove our little warrior here,” Thor places an arm around her and hugs her with a grin on his face. “wrong.” Removing his arm from the warrior Thor kept his eyes on the bridge and took in the beauty of Asgard.
Seeing the horses waiting to take them across the rainbow bridge and into Asgard, Thor looks to the warrior beside him. “You going to stop being stingy and let me teleport you across the bridge or you going to be a stubborn ass and take a horse?” The man questions to which he heard Serenity grumble as she walks by him. He chuckles at her reaction before placing an arm around her and with that spins the hammer, Mjolnir into the direction of their beloved home. Within a few seconds the God and warrior were at the end of the bridge with the market in front of him. He didn’t know why, but seeing the market before him made him remember the good old days. “You remember the days Loki, Ophelia, you and I would come play hide and seek throughout here?” It was damn near impossible on finding the two blessed with the arts of magic, but Serenity? Thor always knew to find her at or near the arena or training grounds. He still remembers how he first met the warrior and of course it was through his arrogance in thinking he could defeat the little girl in battle. When it was all over and Thor on the ground with a black eye, his mother gave him advice. ‘Someone like Serenity is who you should be friends with--not on the other side of her sword.’ Of course Thor returned to the training grounds the next day and asked for her to train him, to train alongside her. He knew of her family and that she will one day be on the front lines with him for he is the son of a King and she is the daughter of a General--it was in their blood. Many didn’t know it despite the four acting like four peas in a pod, Serenity was more so his best friend while Ophelia was Loki’s. “You were almost always easy to find.” then again she didn’t have any magic to make herself disappear.
Walking through the market and becoming greeted by all his subjects, Thor smiled at them all. But it didn’t go unnoticed of Serenity’s sour look. “Okay,” he turns around to face her, stopping the woman dead in her tracks. “what is wrong? You got me here back on Asgard--yay you!” Thor almost sounded childlike when he cheered Serenity on for it. “I know you are not that old, but are you like going through--oh what do them Midgardians call it?” Thor heard Jane’s mother speak of it in the past when he was courting Jane. A light bulb suddenly went off in his head. “Oh, I know--menopause!” Being the ignorant idiot he can be, Thor ignored the stares of those passing the two. “Is that what you are going through?” Thor places a hand on her shoulder. “You need not to be embarrassed Serenity.”
Thor and Juniper
Thor was a socialite. Girls fawned over him, men wanted to be him, practically everywhere he went people were asking for a picture. Juniper, a shy orphan, taken in after her and her twin sister were given away to Hydra as experiment subjects was the exact opposite. She saw him striding around Avenger’s tower like he owned the place, valiant with each step. It didn’t help that during her time there, she had developed a small crush on the man, but she had no clue how to talk to him.
He used foreign vernacular, evidence of his growing up on Asgard. He exuded confidence, and Juniper was almost fearful of the man. Yet hopelessly had feelings for him.
She was sitting on a couch in the common area, having a cup of coffee and reading a book. She often found herself migrating towards this area in her morning routine to start her day off pleasantly. Being new to the team, she wasn’t really on too many missions, so she had a lot of free time on her hands.
