It wasn’t that Agatha didn’t like parties or social gatherings, it was that often times she found herself interested in activities that no one else wanted to do. And that was definitely the case as she stared incredulously at a tank full of Grindylows in a side room at Tremblay Manor, while people in another wing of the house played some sort of drinking game she didn’t fully understand.
Both Wendy and Molly had found friends to chat with, and having not wanted to feel like a third wheel, Aggie had wandered off, exploring the house. No one had told her she couldn’t, and when she’d come across the tank, she’d been glad they hadn’t. Her attention was so focused, however, that it wasn’t until she heard a floorboard creak that she realized someone was behind her.
“Ach, sorry,” she exclaimed, whirling around as if she were a child caught misbehaving, “The door was open.”
