Trust Exercise || NoLisette 3.5
While the meal they’d shared to get to know each other a few days earlier had been pleasant enough, and the time that they were about to spend with each other wasn’t the exam, Lisette had a few butterflies all the same. The concept of the exam was new and nerve-wracking, and it was going to take some work to put all of her trust in Noelle and take a punishment that she’d done nothing to deserve.
She had no reason to distrust her partner either, though, so she resolved to give the scene her very best as she always did. Hopefully when it was over they’d have proven that they were compatible and ready for the exam, and they could both go into that with a renewed optimism that would earn them a good grade. That was, after all, what they were her for.
Coming straight over from class with a bag on her shoulder, Lisette knelt at Noelle’s door and knocked politely, waiting with her head up and her hands behind her back.
