intoxicated meiqi does dumb things. in fact, sober meiqi does dumb things as well, but this particular day she wakes up early in the morning with a piercing headache and swollen eyes. she brushes it off, labels it a normal emotional night, and proceeds with her day. it's only when she's scrolling through her phone while on her way to nova, that meiqi notices the blunder she'd made the previous night and all but jolts out of her seat in the back of the car. she has to repeatedly assure the chauffeur that everything is fine, before returning her attention to her cell phone.

meiqi doesn't remember calling anyone. then again, she doesn't really remember anything. lately, she's been trying to wane off of alcohol, but a stressful and lonely night had lead her to the cabinet filled with aunt wong's expensive wines. there's not much she recalls after the second bottle. spamming an unknown number with (what is probably) incomprehensible drunk calls is definitely not in her memory—nor is a whole one hour conversation with aforementioned stranger.
this is almost as bad as the time meiqi threw up in yoongi's yard. almost. and like she'd done then, it feels only right to apologize to this person as well for forcing them to deal with her (people tell her she's a handful whether inebriated or not). plus, she kind of wants to know what bullshit she spewed this time.
