Curiosity Killed The Cat

Bang's Bar was always busy on a Saturday evening. The young male glued the usual calm expression to his face, serving his customers politely, maybe showing a small smile as he listened to their endless ramblings. One heard a lot in a bar, at least as the possibly only sober person around and in a town such as this, where people disappeared regularly, no matter if they were seniors, children or anyone in between.
He couldn't help but notice one customer, though, she looked rather young, perhaps too young to be inside a bar, though he knew better than to judge merely by appearance. Whatever. He'd continue minding his own business as long as there were no issues.
“Have you heard? Another person went missing,” one guest, chatting with someone else, caught his attention as he was drying some glasses.
“Yes, I heard the person was pretty young, still,” the second person sighed and Yongguk wondered why he even stuck to this town. He could've left ages ago with the money he'd saved up and if he sold his home and the bar, that should help as well... and yet. And yet it was like the town had some kind of invisible, magnetic pull, keeping him there.
