to say that he'd been neglecting luana would be an understatement. sure, he loved her but he'd been more focused on work than he was anything else. first, he started with ishika. then he wented after nox. now, he was dealing with sahana and her new man. it seemed to be one thing after another but he was determined to find out who this man was, who sahana betrayed him for. he was so invested that he didn't even realize what time it was until his girlfriend walked into his office. he glanced up at her, a smile following until he saw the look on her face. dante glanced at his watched and his face twisted in an apologetic manner. "lu, i'm sorry. i lost track of time..."

she was the last person dante expected to see and still, her presence made a smile appear on his face. leaning back in his seat at one of the booths tucked away in the corner, he nodded so that the man he had been talking to would leave and give the two of them some privacy. “ah, and to what do i owe the pleasure, hm? i haven’t seen you in ages. how’ve you been? have you missed me?” he cooed in a cocky tone.

while sahana wasn't their kid, or even really his, he still was upset by the recent news she'd given him and he needed to talk about with someone who would understand his feelings. "i'm having issues with one of the kids," he started, "not ours but...sahana." he breathed out. he was always going to be happy for her but he didn't like the fact that she'd lied to him. "sahana is keeping things from me. am i that unapproachable?"

it was time he talked to gavin from what happened after the incident. he sent orders for him to meet him in his office and the moment the younger male walked in, he nodded toward the empty chair placed in front of his mahogany desk. "there's some things that i'd like to discuss," he started, "but first, would you like something to drink?" this was going to be a bit of a serious talk. he needed to know where gavin stood when it came to ishika mehra, and if he had to manipulate him to get him away from her, then he'd do whatever he had to do. after all, gavin was an asset to his security team. "i've got the good stuff, if you're interested. secondly, how are you feeling? i'm glad to see you're out of the hospital."

trust was something that was hard to gain in dante's eyes and ishika had yet to gain it. while he though for a split second that he was going to be able to trust the mehra heiress, the moment that picture of her and his associate slid over his desk, he knew that she was one of the last people that he could trust. once his hired help let him know that she'd been taken care of, he wasted no time making his way to the hospital with flowers in hand. he approached her room, standing at the doorway. "so, it is true. you're here." dante knew it was true. he just hadn't gotten the chance to let her know he was behind the attack. slowly, he made his way toward her bed, eyes focused on her. "how are you feeling?" he asked, setting the flowers on the table next to her. "looks like they got you pretty good."

the last time he'd seen his daughter, he had been hell bent on exposing the onyx circuit while attempting to heal from his injuries. while he wasn't 100%, he assumed that this was as good as it was going to get at his age and he wanted to make an effort to see sahana, if not to at least let her know that he was okay. so, he made lunch reservations at winner's circle, he asked her to join him. the moment she slid into the seat across from him, he grinned in response. "there you are. how have you been? better now that your old man is all healed up, huh?" he teased.

jaw clenched, dark eyes focused on the man in front of him. he hadn't made an effort to meet up or talk to too many people since the explosion but there was one thing that he knew he needed to do and that was work with the other families to figure out who the hell was behind this new group. "do you have any new information?" he asked, arms crossed over his body. "i think that someone is bound to know something at this point. there's no way we're completely uncertain when it comes to these onyx circuit assholes."

dante hadn't been avoiding her. despite their divorce, he wasn't angry with his ex wife but after his accident on valentine's day, he hadn't been up for much company. he was having a hard time staying away from their kids though and so, he finally agreed to allow them all to come over. his body still ached as it did the first day after the accident, something he knew he needed to get taken care of but that was the least of his worries at his kids came in. "there you guys are," he slowly pushed himself off the couch and wrapped his arms around them, "dinner should be done soon. elisa," he pulled his eyes from his kids to his ex wife, "are you staying?"
