ember tried to keep up with everyone in her life but it just had been that both her job and her relationship kept her pretty busy. she never wanted to be the girl that pushed her friendships to the side and so she'd made a point to join samira for brunch. "so," she started, offering a smile toward the other, "update me. it's been forever since we've been each other. in fact, last time we talked i think i was telling you how evil i thought irza was." she finished with a light laugh.

ember turned as she heard someone calling after her and she had no idea who it would be. still, once she turned around she couldn't place who she was or why she was trying to get her attention until she offered her wallet in her direction. ember dropped it without realizing and she had no idea what she would have done had someone untrustworthy not found it. "oh my god," she started, taking her wallet back, "thank you so much. you're a lifesaver."
