this was so out of the ordinary for him. he rarely left his house this late at night and on top of that, he definitely didn't agree to meet up with girls who he talked to on twitch but he'd made a news years resolution to step out of his comfort zone. he wanted to both find someone to spend his life with and well, losing his virginity at some point would be nice. "i really can't believe you talked me into this." he replied, keeping some of his distance from her and that was mostly out of respect not lack of attraction. "do you normally break into hotel pools with guys you meet on the internet?"

robbie had only been here a week but somehow he managed to find where he brother was hiding out in that little amount of time. he walked up to the floral shop with his hands in his jacket pockets, a chuckle leaving his lips. he was definitely going to give his little brother a hard time. that was what he did best and the excitement he got from it almost took over his entire body. chaos is what he loved best. he opened the door, the bell indicating he walked in and he approached the counter, the other having his back turned to him. “hey, little brother.” he greeted, a smirk playing across his lips as he leaned against the counter. “miss me?”

robbie was waiting outside for katie, texting her earlier that he would be there when she got off and they’d grown close over the past few months so he assumed she wouldn’t care. he looked over at her as she walked outside of her job and uncrossed his arms, “how was work?” he asked. “was it one of those days where you need a drink because if so, i’ll buy.”

robbie's lack of dating experience was obvious and he had no idea what he was thinking when it came to allowing his friends to set him up on blind date. the only thing he knew was the color she was wearing and the moment he spotted her, or who he assumed was her, he smiled. god, she was beautiful and certainly out of his league. "i-you're not my date, are you?" he mentally facepalmed. "not that it would be disappointing. i mean, you're pretty. beautiful even." he rambled nervously.

robbie had managed to get into a fight with some random bar bum after winning a couple of games of darts. they’d bet on it and he was set on getting paid. playing people was how he made his income and the guy had been some sort of sore loser, which caused the two to get into a fight and him to get thrown out of the bar. he stumbled out, “oh, yeah! throw out the new guy when he’s trying to get paid! fuckers!” he spat, wiping the blood from his lip soon after. he looked at the person who seemed to be watching. “i thought people would be way more welcoming on an island. i guess i was wrong.”

if there was one thing robbie was good at, it was getting his way. he always found a way and it was usually due to his charm. he walked into the bar, having scored quite a bit of money the night before after cheating to win some pool games. he noticed the woman sitting by herself and it immediately peaked his interest. he approached her, grinning as he sat down. “well, hey there beautiful.” he greeted, his eyes scanning over her. “name’s robbie and i’m hoping i can buy you a drink tonight.” he was a little too bold sometimes but he went after things he wanted with little hesitation. he didn’t see the point in holding back.

robbie was trying to keep his chaos level down to a minimum but it just seemed to follow him wherever he went. tonight he was hoping to keep it lowkey. he plopped down at the bar, one he’d heard his brother talk about and leaned forward as he looked around. “you guys wouldn’t be hiring would you?” he asked the man behind the bar, his head tilting to one side. “i have a job with my brother at his floral shop but i’m hoping to get out of there and kind of give his some space. i think i’ve invaded his bubble way too much here lately.” and he knew irvin was probably annoyed with his most recent shenanigans.

robbie was at it again. here he was, upsetting irvin and setting him off. which, was normal at this point. maybe he should’ve been embarrassed that his brother walked in on him and ambroise but instead, he almost felt bad for letting his brother down but this was just a part of who he was. he lit up a cigarette as he sat over by the window, listening to irvin go on. “look, i’m sorry. i didn’t think you’d be home.” he knew what was no excuse but it was the truth. “i mean, usually you’re at the shop and i was planning on getting him out of here before you got home.”
