I love the Halla you made! Is there a pattern?
Thank you! I made my halla by adapting the reindeer pattern by Cynthia Treen (whose creations are all delightful!) I printed the pattern at half size. I drew the horns myself, which you can easily do yourself too. I made two different S shapes, one a little smaller than the other, and then cut out four of each and sewed them with narrow pipe cleaners inside.

You can get nice felt from Cynthia’s etsy shop too, or I often order from Prairie Woolens online. It makes a huge difference to sew with nice wool-blend felt rather than cheap craft store felt, especially at that small scale.
I’d love to see yours if you make one! Good luck!
(Oops, I meant to answer this privately, but there it is in case anyone else wants to try making a halla. Let’s get a whole herd! Someone should make a golden halla too.)
PS - Here are some of the other things I have made from Cynthia’s patterns and kits. She’s great, a talented and very nice lady who is also always glad to answer questions and offer advice!
