The fact that she'd agreed to lunch was huge for Callum. He hadn't seen Teagan in a long time and the last time he'd laid eyes on her was when she left him broken hearted. Now that she was back in town, even temporarily, it felt like he was getting a second chance at...something. Maybe they'd never be what they were before, but if Callum could keep Teagan in his life, even as a friend this time, he was going to do his best to make that happen. He waited for her outside the restaurant as agreed upon, even though the gentleman in him wanted to pick her up, Callum wasn't sure this was even a date so he didn't want to assume too much.
When he finally spotted her walking up the sidewalk to meet him, his face lit up with a smile and he met her halfway, reaching out wrap his arms around her gently in a hug. "Hey, you look gorgeous, wow, I should have dressed up I guess." He teased, she might have been dressed casually but Teagan was always a stunner, even in her sweats and messy buns back when they'd been together and he'd gotten to see her undone. "I'll have you know that my daughter is pissed she didn't get to come to lunch so she made me bring you this." He blushed slightly as he held out a little picture Addilyn had drawn for Teagan. "It's the two of you as princesses, that's one of her favorite memories of you guys, dressing up and you singing her all the disney princess songs." @teaganweatherford
