Boram approached Saeeda’s chamber even though it was nearly midnight. But he couldn’t sleep. He hadn’t been able to sleep for the last two days because his mind wouldn’t stop running. He had thought he had dropped enough hints that he was interested in her as a man. Boram had tried reaching out to her since the Red Ball but to no avail - he hadn’t heard anything from her. And that wasn’t normal. That wasn’t like Saeeda. They had been there for one another for far too long for this much time to have passed for everything to be normal. As his heart pounded inside his chest, his hands trembling from the anxiety, he knocked at her door. “Saeeda, please, I need to talk to you.” His deep voice was level and steady as he attempted the facade of everything being okay. But truthfully, he was worried he had ruined things between them.

Can’t Stop This \\ open

While he wasn’t one to normally indulge, especially not over indulge, Boram somehow found himself having one too many drinks. There was some kind of outdoor party near the beach, a lit up platform for dancing in the center of the event where many people danced the night away. He had gone for a walk when he stumbled upon the gathering, which was welcoming to any and all. At first he planned to only have one or two drinks and people watch, but the more he watched, the more he drank, and before he knew it he was in a little deeper than planned. Funky beats blasted from the stereo as alcohol pumped through veins; Boram found himself in the center of the dance floor dancing with people he didn’t now.
