"do you think we... spend too much time indoors?" he didn't know where it had come from, the thought that he and declan are only ever together when they're behind closed doors. but since it had reared its ugly head, it was all gus could think about. and god, he hated that thought. he was hoping that declan would say no, that he was being stupid. or maybe that he was right and they should go outside right now and let everyone see them. "i was thinking we could, like, go to a bar or something. get something to eat together. does that... sound okay?"

"what do you think about this tonight?" gus holds up the bag of popcorn, looking over his shoulder at where declan is settled against the couch. it was sort of given that they did movie night every weekend now, something to look forward to and, well... something that was simply just a staple in their life at this point. "i've got chocolate, too, if you want that. and uh, drinks. i've got anything you could want." which was not something he was saying lightly because made it a mission to order things he knew were declan's favourites.
