Owen has a large, jet black dire wolf with strange red eyes. He has been a warg since his youth with an ability to warg into his wolf.
Owen hates nicknames, there are no exceptions. He does not answer to anything other than Owen when dealing with friends and family.
He is the definition of wolf's blood in terms of starks; hot tempered, wild, stern, and brave to a fault. This gets him in trouble and means he never turns to a fight, often he runs into one, head first.
Owen married Princess Rosa Arryn of the Vale at the beginning of his reign, they would have four children before her death. (More to come in relationships)
Owen has been a very forward thinking king, some would say he was too forward thinking leading to a civil war in the worth in which lords would fight against many of these changes including the growing presence of followers of the new Gods and "southron" thinking. In this conflict he would lose his brother Jon and his sister Alysanne would go missing.
Those who are staunchly against Owen's changes have begun to refer to themselves as the True North , notably many of these houses left court with Brandon Karstark though any who remain wish to influence the king back to being a Northmen.
The 8 are Northmen who have adopted the 7 alongside their Old Gods, while they know the Old Gods number higher it was agreed that 8 simiplified things.
Loyalist are those who are loyal to the Starks. Perhaps they are weary of change. Maybe they're having some trouble adjusting but they trust House Stark to lead them as they have since the age of Heroes.
