                     “SMILE!”  cassandra  says  joyfully,  the  atmosphere  of  the  carnival  bringing  her  nothing  but  happiness.  for  the  first  time,  in  a  long  time,  she  felt  she  could  stop  &&  breathe.  everything  was  perfect  --  from  the  cool,  light breeze  to  the  colorful,  falling  leaves.  she  holds  the  camera  up  to  her  face  &&  snaps  a  quick  photo  of  trevor,  who  was  working  the  photobooth.  cassandra  glances  at  the  photo  she  took,  “oh,  cute.  this  is  getting  published  for  sure.”  she  takes  a  few  steps  closer,  holding  the  camera  out  to  him, “do  you  wanna  see?”
