Beckett couldn’t help but smile when he thought about Tara, especially when Maya said he made her smile. “She completely owns my heart.” He admitted. “I feel very lucky to have someone won her over.” He looked at the flowers before letting out a small laugh. “I’ll make sure to bring a vase next time.” He offered, lifting his arm and motioning for her to come closer. “Grading on Valentine’s seems like it should be illegal. Maybe I should report you to the authorities.”
"We're lucky to have you in our life." she said softly feeling warm as he spoke about Tara completing his heart. "She's a good judge of character." she said softly. " You don't need to this works well." she said before going over to wrap her arms around him. "Well I haven't thought about valentines day as a holiday in years." she said softly.
Beckett smiled when she said they were lucky. “I think I might be the lucky one.” He admitted, though it was nice to hear that Tara was a good judge of character and liked him. “What if you want to drink lemonade on a day I bring you flowers?” He teased gently, wrapping his arms around her and holding her to his chest. “I do think Valentine’s is pretty much a fake holiday, but I won’t say no to a reason to spend time with you.”
