location: the sports center/gym before a yoga class status: closed @hllboymglds
Cullen was often at the gym well before his classes started. He liked to get in the right mindset, and that often meant making sure the room he was going to be teaching in was comfortable. Burning incense in the corner, away from where anyone would be stretching so as not to leave smoky air for them. Making sure the music playing was peaceful; tibetan singing bowls today. Today he had twenty minutes still before his class began, which meant about fifteen minutes before people started to trickle in and set up their mats.
Still, Cullen set up his own mat in the front of the class and sat down on it, cross-legged. Listening to the gentle sounds playing around him, he closed his eyes and focused on his breathing, one hand on his knee and the other resting on his stomach.
It was quiet enough that when someone came in a little earlier than Cullen was used to, he heard them, no matter how quiet they may have been trying to be. He slowly opened his eyes, smiling, hoping he was centered enough for the next class. "Hey, welcome back!"
