It wasn’t often that Daniella deviated from her routine. Routines were nice and consistent, they kept her busy and out of the way—unnoticed. No one cared about the blonde little troublemaker anymore; avoid was what most did.
That was how she’d come to find her own little private sanctuary out in the back gardens. It was risky, of course, but the night was so nice and inviting. And really what did it matter if she went missing for a few minutes or so.
Minutes passed like tenths of a second though. Hypnotized by the night sky and this rare moment of peace, Dani’s short break soon turned into a much longer one.
