                      MAGENTA  PINCHES  THE  BRIDGE  OF  HER  NOSE,  giving  her  head  a  slight  shake.  she'd  been  in  the  library  for  at  least  an  hour  &&  one  of  the  items  she  was  looking  for  was  nowhere  to  be  found.  the  manuscript  had  been  in  her  possession  before,  but  she  returned  it  a  few  weeks  back  thinking  she  no  longer  needed  it.  it  was  a  much  older  manuscript,  bound  in  leather  with  aged  pages  and  intricate  designs.  she  could  hardly  believe  anyone  else  in  this  small  town  was  after  it.  but  what  other  explanation  was  there  for  it  not  being  on  the  shelf  where  it  belonged?  magenta  is  about  to  give  up  &&  sulk  back  to  her  table  in  the  corner  of  the  room  when  she  spots  someone  who  works  at  the  library  &&  makes  her  way  over.  "excuse  me,  would  you  be  able  to  help  me  locate  a  manuscript?"
