This is the third medical bill I’ve gotten in the last month that claims I don’t have insurance. I don’t know what’s happening. My doctor’s office had my insurance on file. I checked at my last appointment. I also checked their online portal. They have my current info.
So why do I keep getting bills saying I have none? Not that my insurance doesn’t cover the procedure. They all say I have no insurance at all.
And no. There’s nothing wrong with my insurance. I’m a state employee and enrollment is in July. It wouldn’t just drop and I wouldn’t suddenly be disqualified. Also, it’s covering my prescription at the pharmacy just fine.
I have to make a bunch of phone calls tomorrow.
