culinary-nightmare:
”Mademoiselle, I do not lie to you, I would never hurt a young lady as you, I promise.” He sighs, hanging his head low. Attempting to not chuckle again, yet it was difficult. However, he struggles in his cuffs, the metal clinking against itself as he aggressively pulls in them, trying his best to get them to break. ”Dear, these are quite tough..”
Arceus-damnit... she was stuck. This one clearly wasn't going to cooperate at all and she really, really didn't want to just leave him here. Calling the police was an option, of course, but she knew how incompetent they were back home. There was no reason to believe they wouldn't be just as incompetent here. Plus, if he somehow managed to escape before they got here...
No. That wasn't an option. C'mon, Kotone! Think of something! What would she do? The question came unbidden and she shivered, folding her arms more tightly across her chest. As much as she didn't want to rely on old habits, had never thought to need them this far from home, going about this in any way approaching normal just wouldn't get anything done. Clearing her throat, she took a deep breath and looked back at her 'captive.'
"Alright, this is what we're going to do... I'm going to leave here and forget this ever happened. I don't know you. I've never seen you. You're a complete stranger to me." Which, the obvious mishap aside, was true considering she'd never even thought to ask his name. "What happened out there... that's none of my business and I don't intend to make it my business. When I go, I'll leave the keys to the cuffs in your hands. I want to put this behind me and never think about it again. But. If I so much as feel stray eyes on the back of my head, I'm going to the police. I'll tell them everything."
