You've been gone now, three years gone and my throat is clogged with words that I should have said but never did and I can't spit them out can't cough them out, can't regurgitate them The only choice is to swallow them and let them live inside me, let them breed See what they breed inside me You've been gone now, three years gone and I can still see your face as if you're standing right in front of me and I want to take that face in my hands and cover it with kisses and tell you that everything's gonna be alright, that everything is going to be fine, even though I know that's total bullshit, that it's a fucking lie and everything is never going to be alright now that you're gone You've been gone now, three years gone and I fear that your heart is dark with hatred for me for the love I withheld and the games that I played to push you away but I hope where you've gone that the hatred is gone the pain and the fear are gone where you've gone where you've gone You've been gone now, three years gone now but you're still here

Three years without you means learning to live with just your memories. It means moving on but never forgetting. It means remembering all the lessons you taught me, your legacy: 1. When life gets you down, baking is the perfect remedy 2. Take pride in what you do, no matter how inconsequential 3. Celebrate the little moments, they are the ones that really matter 4. When someone talks badly about a person, remind them of that person's good qualilties... it will open their eyes 5. Always take time to enjoy the simple things, especially the sunshine 6. Childhood is magical, and your life's success can be measured by the difference you made in a child's life. You taught me so much and I miss you and your sage wisdom everyday. #loveyouangel #missyou #threeyearsgone #neverforgotten #jennifermartel @liljenx24
