Tadhg shook his head. “No, don’t bother her. It shouldn’t be too long.” He grumbled, scratching at his hand thoughtlessly.
“If you’re going somewhere, I wanna go with you.” Tadhg glanced back over at his roommate. He was absolutely uncomfortable here; Tadhg could tell just by looking at him.
Tadhg’s face scrunched up, and he started to get out of the hospital bed. “No, I don’t. You know I don’t like it.” He glanced at the IV attached to his wrist, letting his eyes travel along the drip up to the bag. Something seemed wrong about it, but he couldn’t tell what is was. Everything was too fuzzy.
“I’ll just do it myself, I can do it.” He tried to drag the IV drip behind him as he trudged towards the door, cursing the fact that the IV stand didn’t have wheels. The scraping sound was horrible, but somewhat muffled to Tadhg. That probably wasn’t good, but he put it in the back of his mind.
“I don’t need you to help me.”
