Of course! They're Tevas! :) It's my 3rd pair exactly like that; I just get new colors every time. I've traveled all across Europe in them. They're wonderful shoes.

That makes sense; a lot of people find that schools don’t fit them for the full four years. Do you plan to stay small/local?

Nope- I really want to go to UMass, but I don't know if that'll happen. It'll be a really big change, but I need something different. Plus with what I want to do, I think a bigger school will have more classes and opportunities that will help me.

Yes, that's usually how it works, isn't it? It's exhausting, and heartbreaking, but you're right, it will pass. Thank you for the encouragement. I'm doing the best that I can.

I epilalated my legs...in my bathroom...with two of my best friends watching me for moral support...it was a little slice of hell, but one that I think I will return to simply for the overall benefits. For those of you who don't know what an epilator is it is basically an electric razor with out the blade, instead of the blade it has these small tweezer like things that spin when you turn it on and thus pulls out your hair as opposed to shaving it. Like i said, a little bit of hell. However, the benefits of it are said to be great because as you continue to 'tweeze' your hair it gets thinner, thus less time with the epilator and less pain. Also it is not disposable so there's no disposable blades, thus it is better for the environment. Overall I am still on the fence about it since it really felt like I was plucking my leg hair out of my body so you know there's that, but it seems like its a good thing.
