I have not played it yet because I know if I start I will never finish the fic I'm writing.

It's still in very early development!

only 1 out of like,,,,,I think 7 of my attempts at evolution survived. the rest kept dying because I still don't understand what I'm supposed to be doing. For the surviving one I just made it so other people couldn't eat me and then pretty much just sat around passively generating resources.

which works, but it's not exactly dynamic or anything.

I may suck at Thrive, but...

actually there's no end statement here I just suck at this game. I've got not a single clue how this is supposed to work.
