Background. Thromboangitis obliterans (TAO or Buerger's Disease) is most commonly associated with tobacco exposure. A similar cannabis induced form of thromboangitis obliterans has been suggested in the literature. Unfortunately, most patients reported in the literature with radiologic evidence of thromboangitis obliterans and cannabis exposure are noted to have concomitant exposure to tobacco.
