TCB Joke Posting #1

Hi everyone, since we can’t stream tonight like we normally would according to our schedule, I’ve decided to post some of the joke drawings we’ve made behind the scenes for fun.

The following are a mix of drawings by Tar, Eira, and myself:

We’ll probably have a more serious post next week, but for now, enjoy some of the many nonsensical things we make for our own entertainment.

One last thing, on a more serious note, we will likely be back to streaming around late January to early February, so keep an eye out for future posts regarding our schedule.

Introducing... Through Clouds Below

The first campaign we're going to be running on stream, with Robin as the GM. It's a fantasy/steampunk adventure taking place in the world of the Skies, which, as the name suggests, consists of various floating cities above the clouds.

The campaign will follow the four player characters as they set out on a sky-sailing expedition sponsored by the wealthy philanthropist, Winchester Valentine. What's the expedition for you ask? Well he hasn't said yet, attempting to maintain an air of intrigue... not even the carefully selected crew members know yet. Whatever it is, it promises to be one of the greatest expeditions of the era.

So, without further ado... let's meet our PCs:

Name: Colt J. Valentine Pronouns: He/Him Class: Bard of Lore, 2 Age: 16 Birthday: August 17th Height: 5'5

Played By: Sushi Player Pronouns: Any/All Art By: Eira

In over his head and wholly unprepared for what may lie ahead, Colt is the son of the sponsor of the adventure. Sent to assist where needed and more importantly be the one to record the party's findings, it appears he has no clue how to survive without assistance.

Name: Wren Fletcher Pronouns: He/him Class: Level 5 Champion Fighter Age: 52 Birthday: March 31st Height: 5'10"

Played By: Tartar Player Pronouns: Any/all Art By: Tartar <3

The captain, a man who typically keeps to himself and his whiskey. He's here for a paycheck, not really for friends, so as long as we get from A to B he'll be happy. Might crack a few snarky jokes and comments on the way, but he's not all bad…

Name: Vaida Schorl Pronouns: They/He (Transmasc Nonbinary, tends to prefer masc honorifics and titles over neutral ones) Class: Level 5 Phantom Rogue Age: 33 Birthday: March 11th (3/11) Height: 5'11 Played By: Eira Player Pronouns: They/He Art By: ThatVampireEira aka Eira A gambler who was hired to act as something of a guard onboard, specializing in nightwatch as well as generally helping around a ship. They almost always seem to have the same smile on their face.

Name: Messenger Pronouns: She/Her Class: Gloom Stalker Ranger (Lvl. 3) Age: 19 Birthday: January 24th? Height: 6'1

Played By: Amelia Pronouns: She/They Art By: Amelia

A courier, a sneak, and a figure that cannot help but escape notice even when she doesn't want to, the young woman who only calls herself "Messenger" is far from home. Better-suited to running supplies and letters across Uvanen's seedy undercity, she now finds herself stowed away in the cargo hold of the adventure's airship, chasing after something that will take her farther yet…

Fair warning: this campaign may cover some serious topics. We've assembled a list of potential content warnings, but we cannot guarantee it will cover all of them given that we don't know for sure what will happen.

That being said, here is the main list of potential content warnings for this campaign: Addiction (Gambling, Alcoholism), Self Harm Mentions, Suicidal Ideation, Depression.

Robin’s Notebook Sketches #1

Hello everyone! This week I decided to post some of the doodles from my notebook pertaining to Through Clouds Below. I use that notebook to keep track of combat stats during sessions, and end up drawing things on the pages post-session or on other unused pages… so here’s a couple of those sketches.

We appreciate everyone’s patience right now, we’re working on things in the background, planning for next session, and we hope we’ll be able to go back to streaming later this month.

Child of the owners of Dervling Repairs. Since an airship crash left her paralyzed, she's been stuck on the ground. He wishes nothing more than to touch the sky again.

Aaron's friend, fellow coworker, and partner. They seem to care a lot about his well-being, and subsequently appear to have some resentment towards the captain of the Bracer...
