So like. I’m stuck using MS Paint until we figure out what’s going on with PS. I’d use SAI, but boy howdy does it hate Windows 10

Anywho. A while back some people asked me to show them revised OCs of mine. This is one is Nightstar or Nightheart (originally called Nightmare. Edgy as fuck). Her original story was that she was the daughter of Brokenstar and wanted to destroy the clans. That’s about it. Super fucking edgy shit. Like here are her original designs

She really didn’t have much more than edge going for her.

I recently fell back into Warriors hell and decided to revamp her story. Now shes just a simple Windclan cat. Sort of. She’s just trying to do her best. She’s a sweet cat. Her story is way before any of the books. Anyone outside of her and any important cats from her story are long since faded. Her story is often told to naughty kits on why you should be nice to a medicine cat. A famine takes over Windclan. No other clan step into help and the clan leader is too stubborn to ask for help. So Nightys parents decided to eat her siblings and tried to eat her before being stopped.

Due to her not being able to hear or see right, it was decided she would become a medicine cat. She was upset, but got over it. Another kit was chosen to also be a medicine cat. Thrushtail. Her and Nightheart are super gay. They figure they can be together since there’s no chance of kits.

One summer a sickness sweeps through Windclan. Every adult cat falls ill and dies. There’s nothing the two medicine cats can do. With Nightheart being a Maine Coon, shes fucking huge. Every cat in Windclan flocks to her asking what to do. She’s strong and a medicine cat. She surely has the answers! She doesn’t. But the other young cats do. 

The young cats don’t really understand that she can’t be a leader. But that’s too bad because she just became Nightstar. The anger and hatred flows within her clan. They want revenge. No other clan helped them. Again. They’re all so young. They don’t think clearly. Nightstar has no choice and so they begin training. Hunting and killing way outside of the clan territory. Growing more powerful.

Until the day comes that they’re all seething with rage. A once sweet cat has become a blood thirsty killer. Stress will do that to ya. It’s pretty easy with her size to intimidate the other clans into listening. They make a loop around and kill anyone that won’t bow immediately to her. Others get shoved into a small space in Shadowclan. All the land belongs to Windclan now.

Thrushtail grows concered as other cats grow sicker and starve. She goes to check on them one cold winter night. She had no idea coyotes were wondering towards her. Her death absolutely destroys Nightstar. 

Nightstar fucking snaps. Shredding anyone who gets in her way. She doesn’t see it as a problem. Life has taken everything from her. So she’ll take the life from others. She used to save, now she only kills. She protect, but she also attack. 

It’s a gore filled few days. Her deputy Jaggedstone realizes maybe this is a little too much. He originally wanted the revenge so badly. But he didn’t want this. He attacks her. The trees around Shadowclan used to have spikes on the trees. Cats used to call them jagged stones. Fate is funny huh. He knew he’d lose. He had no choice. Jaggedstone spears the both of them on a jagged stone. 

Nightstar wakes in the Dark Forest. Angry and still as blood thirsty. As years pass, she finally calms down. Back to her calm natured self and takes the name Nightheart back. She eventually stumbles across a wall she can’t pass. Its a clean line in the grass. The dying grass against the healthiest grass she’s ever seen. She tries to run through it only to slam into an invisible wall. Thrushtail finds her at the wall. Thrushy is in Starclan. They can’t touch. A fate worse than death. Find your mate, only to find you can never touch them again.

Every now and again her parents find her and their hatred and rage spurs her to become Nightstar again.

Nightheart saves the living clans from her parents and such is allowed into Starclan. So the ending for her isn’t too bad. She’s the reason there’s such a deep distrust of Windclan

Tell me about your cat ocs

since this is vague im gonna pick a random oc and talk about them

thrushtail is another cat i really like but probably doesnt get enough attention, she's one of the 85 (15) kits of willowstar and she kinda feels neglected because her littermate lionstorm was sick most of her life and got most of the attention. she's been half deaf from birth and was a major help when willowstar and sparrowfeather were working to create a sort of sign language for cloudkit and rosekit. because of this, she mentored cloudpaw despite the fact they were siblings. she has three kits, flightfur, stormcloud (a sidenote i named him about a week before bramblestar's storm  came out so don't start at me erins blatantly copied my name) and runningstream. she's the kind of queen who offers you advice even when you don't want it, and she's always bossing fernstar around after he becomes leader (to the point he says "i don't even need to make her my deputy, she's already telling me what to do")
