i have ZERO idea why i decided to do this. i just thought it'd be something fun.

Is Dee’s mom gonna come back or—??? Is dee an orphan now? I really hope she does return because that doesn’t sit right with me. Tic needs to get his attitude in check & realize that ji ah is there to help him. Christina and Ruby are just... no. I hope Christina isn’t just using ruby until she’s not convenient anymore then either kills Ruby or tosses her aside.. I know the ‘adults’ had their own stuff going on but none of them even looked for Dee like wtf

I hope maybe Diana will join Hippolyta in her comic... and they’ll have their happily ever after. I have a feeling the “adults” won’t get her mom back for her. I mean, as you said they didn’t even fucking look for her, they’re gonna do shit to help her save her mom. 

Like... they didn’t even care to sit her down and talk to her about what happened to Hippolyta? That’s messed up. And they didn’t not do it out of helplessness, they just literally seemed to not care enough to bother. Like Diana becoming in orphan is just an inconvenience.

I have this theory (hope) that this show is using two different hero stories to juxtapose them... the classic one around Tic, with some misogynistic undertones, and the modern one “done right”, around Hippolyta and her daughter. The reason I’m thinking this is the “comic” symbolism around Diana’s story and the “literature” symbolism around Tic’s... they both set out on classic hero arcs, only Dee’s is a lot more deep, emotional and complicated whereas Tic’s one is very action aka plot driven. They check the boring love story without any depth, they check the villain, they check the treasure chest hunt, the objects that need to be found... and Dee’s and Hippolyta’s are ones around self discovery, they’re much more real life-ey, messy, the plot doesn’t have any clear structural guidelines. It’s super super interesting. Also I have to say I cried only two times in this show: Once during the final voiceover in Hippolyta’s ep, and once during Dianas’ about how black girls are just... forgotten by everyone. It just broke my heart jesus christ

And yeah Ruby and Christina.... I have complicated emotions towards them:D on the one hand, that hella toxic dynamic is really intriguing bc it’s so intense, and because Christina’s motives are so unclear to me. Like she actually seems to be genuinely interested in Ruby? I hope she is, simply for the show to be able to tell us “evil people might truly love you, but that doesn’t mean they’e good for you bc well, they’re still bad people.” Like obviously I don’t ship them at all emotionally, it’s just... their scenes are hot as hell. The actors’ (all three...) chemistry is off the charts, and it’s just a delight to watch. If only there wasn’t that looming fear in the back of my mind,... especially now with this “Christina will help, for me” stuff in the trailer. Seems like Ruby is actually growing to trust Christina?? which.. uhm I’m scared lol

Huh. I decided to take the Myers-Briggs personality test for my three main characters in Valentine's Day Tiger and the results are pretty damn accurate.
