I am just going to start titling every blog post of mine coffehouse thoughts because I am unoriginal. Just kidding, its because i’m always at a coffehouse and I cannot think of any other title.
Here’s how my week went. On Tuesday, a spider crawled up my leg and I became addicted to Good Times and their “bambino” burgers. quite delicious. On Wednesday, I didn’t have work. I spent the day with Nathan. Probably because I found him sleeping on the couch in the girls living room when i came down for breakfast. You don’t belong here Nathan, sleep in your own living room. <3 Anyway we went to Walgreens where I spent nearly $30 on stamps and another disposable camera. I love disposable cameras. You wind it up, take a snap, and wait to get it developed. I think i like that idea because I love surprises, and thats what disposable cameras are. THEY’RE SURPRISES :D After I sent my camera off to be developed, we hit up a wonderful record shop. It was called Twist and Shout and it had everything! Vinyls, CD’s, DVDs, Books, novelty toys, tshirts. it was quite entertaining...we spent a good hour in that place. I could’ve spent a longer time, but my back was really hurting because I’m always carrying my laptop and books with me. Oh yeah, my DBG boss gave me books on gardening and harvesting that I need to read. O gosh I really need to read those...I’ve had them for about a month now, I haven’t read 1 chapter. I’M ILLETERATE UGH. Anyway, we came home for lunch and burnt some pizza bites and watched Who Framed Roger Rabbit. It was that scary guy from Back to the Future....thats who. After that, we went to a coffee place. We went to the Gypsy House and met up with Shaina. It was very nice. The mood in that place is so bomb. I approve.
TODAY: I think I’m racist...or just anxious. Everyday I get on the bus and go to a highly populated latino area. Today I saw two men with face tattoos and a gangster dialect. I felt them staring at me and I prayed that God would keep me safe from those men. They didn’t bother me, but I was so afraid that something would have happened. The bus scares me very much. I constantly have this crippling fear that someone will come shoot up the bus, or leave a bomb. Hven’t you seen Speed? OR ANY NEWS STATION ANYWHERE? it could seriously happen. I think I just need to take a breath though. This morning I went on the bus and it was pretty crowded, but there was a seat next to a woman dressed in full muslim attire..I think its a Birka, or something like that. It was the kind that covered her face too. I must admit that I was nervous. I have not seen anyone like that ride the bus at all this year. I was nervous because it was the first time I’d seen a woman like that and she could’ve been hiding something under her dress. But she got off at the next stop and I began to hate myself. She even said polite small talk with me. Its hard not to be scared by unfamiliar surroundings or unfamiliar indigenous people. I must say, I’ve been very spooked recently since I had a dream that a man shot up my birthday party. I hope that doesn’t happen, and I hope thats not a premonition. I’m too young to die.
Anyway, our house wants to watch Beauty and the Beast tonight, so i’m going to look for it at the nearest dvd store now. Ciao
ps. i never proof read these
